Worship Team
"packs" away their dynamic mikes for a new solution
New Hope Christian Church of
Swansea, Massachusetts
March 3, 2003

The New Hope Christian Church of Swansea,
Massachusetts chose a new audio
solution for the Worship Team's requirements for voice clarity,
feedback elimination,
and separation of harmonies with multiple singers sharing the same
microphone.
This was accomplished by using new Marshall MXL-2001 Condenser
Microphones, monitored by
a Sabine FBX-1020Plus in the sound booth (shown below during it's
testing).

The proof of the feedback elimination came when
the "live" program ran all audio through
the Sabine FBX realizing a 3-4dB gain increase from the singers
without any feedback. This
allowed all of the equalizers to be reset for room acoustics, and
not set for "feedback duty".

When the Worship Team moves into a much larger
chapel being built all of the current
audio solutions will be used for the final design.
New Hope
Christian Church's Pastor
Dave Therrien uses the Symetrix 528E audio processor with a
Marshall MXL-2003 for his radio broadcasts over TELCO POTS Lines to WARV in Warwick,
